Community Guidelines

NestMate exists to help you find a compatible roommate safely. Everyone on the platform is expected to follow these guidelines.

Be who you say you are

Use your real name and photos. Impersonating someone else, or creating a profile that isn't a real person, isn't allowed.

Be respectful

Harassment, threats, and abusive messages of any kind will get your account suspended or banned.

No brokers or spam

NestMate is for people looking for a roommate, not for advertising rental listings or running a brokerage.

Report and block

Any profile or message can be reported using the ⋮ menu. Reporting doesn't notify the other person, and our team reviews every report within 24 hours. You can also block anyone — once blocked, they can no longer see your profile, message you, or send you a connection request.

Banned accounts

Accounts that violate these guidelines may be suspended or banned. If you believe your account was banned in error, contact support@nestmate.in.
